On the evening of May 10th, the Art Gallery of Lambeth buzzed with excitement as we kicked off our "Little Black Frame" exhibition with a well-attended opening reception. Guests mingled amidst a stunning array of small-scale artworks, each beautifully framed in black, creating an intimate and captivating atmosphere.
The evening was enhanced by a delightful selection of wine, cheese, and snacks, offering the perfect accompaniment to the visual feast. Our studio assistant, Malayna, added a charming touch with her ukulele performance, entertaining guests and adding a warm, melodic backdrop to the night.
One of the highlights of the reception was the presence of most of the exhibiting artists, who graciously engaged with attendees, sharing insights into their creative processes and the stories behind their works. It was a wonderful opportunity for art lovers to connect directly with the talent behind the pieces on display.
For those who couldn't make it to the opening, the "Little Black Frame" exhibition will be running until June 21st. We invite you to visit and immerse yourself in this unique celebration of miniature artistry. Don't miss the chance to experience these small wonders in person!
Stay tuned for more events and exhibitions, and thank you to everyone who made the opening night such a memorable success.
